Volunteers with Proven Leadership

The Mayor and Borough Council who work hard to maintain and enhance the town services for the benefit of Rumson residents. They do this by making fiscally responsible decisions for town maintenance and services, future projects, improvements, and emergency management. Our Public Works department is admired by many local towns. We work together with law enforcement, county engineers, and State grants programs for the benefit of Rumson residents.

The current Borough Council has shown their flexibility and agility as they navigated the severe damage caused by Superstorm Sandy. The Council’s ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of its residents, confirm that the present leadership team is effective.The current Council has a depth of individual expertise and a strong sense of teamwork to improve the quality of life for Rumson residents.  Please take a minute to learn more about the background of each Council member and why they have chosen to serve our town.

The members of the current Council and Mayor do not have any political ambitions outside of serving Rumson residents.
